Judicial Conduct

In maintaining the highest standards of judicial conduct, (any) tribal court judge is prohibited from speaking with members of the public about any issue that may compromise impartiality or the appearance thereof. This includes engaging in ex parte communication, which refers to any discussion about a case or judicial matter between a judge and one party without the presence or knowledge of the other parties involved.
